Kevin Lyman has shaped youth culture for over 40 years with his award winning expertise in the music and entertainment industry as well as business and philanthropic ventures. Lyman is best known as the creator of the Vans Warped Tour, which ran from 1995-2019, which can be considered one of the most socially influential music tours in the United States.
 
He pioneered the successful integration of corporate sponsors with the extreme lifestyle, creating a blueprint for sponsorship integration widely duplicated in the marketplace today. Kevin’s production agency, KLG fuses this blueprint to produce some of the most influential events in the world including branded festivals and custom events.
 
Lately he has been involving himself with lifestyle start-ups like Saint Archer Brewery, Good Dye Young, Veeps, Villager Products and Conference Me In.
 
After the Vans Warped tour he will began teaching as an Associate Professor at the University of Sothern California and focus on the 320festival.com a mental health and education festival with Talinda Bennington.
 
For his philanthropic efforts, Lyman was recognized as the Billboard Touring Awards Humanitarian of the Year (2009), an honoree at the Grammy/MusiCares MAP Fund Gala (2011 and 2014), was inducted into the Top Dog Touring Hall of Fame at the Tour Link Conference (2012) and will receive the TJ Martell Foundation Humanitarian Award (2016).  Humanitarian Award Billboard touring awards (2018), (2018) Fest Forum as the man of the year, and in 2019 was inducted into the IEBA Hall of Fame.
 
In 2020 he has joined the board of Ivoted and Fliptix.

KATE TRUSCOTT | GENERAL MANAGER

Kate Truscott wears many hats for the Kevin Lyman Group, acting as both General Manager and Brand Partnership Manager.  With an unstoppable work-ethic and genuine spirit, she consistently seeks out, creates, and implements strategic partnerships that allow companies to target key audiences and create lasting impressions across all the KLG properties.  It’s always about developing authentic business relationships for both festival and brand clients; the fun times and lasting friendships are just a bonus. Kate takes pride in the dozens of young people that have come through the Vans Warped Tour over the years, and are now working on internationally reknown tours, with A List artists. 

Prior to coming to KLG in 2006, Kate held various management touring positions with music artists like Chevelle, My Chemical Romance, and Fort Minor. Kate grew up in New England and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After starting her career in Chicago, Kate moved to Nashville to launch the KLG office.

Kate credits her military family background for her workhorse drive. “I just keep going until the job is done,” she says.

Kat Cody has a powerhouse work-ethic backed by a “gets it done” track record. As the Project and Event Manager at the Kevin Lyman Group (KLG), she is in charge of keeping projects on track and moving forward from creation through to show day.

Prior to KLG, she worked as the Social Media Marketing Coordinator for Danny Wimmer Presents. She graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science in Music Industry Management. During her time in school, she worked for the Vans Warped Tour doing social media and marketing and within the live event space. For the last half-decade, she has worked various positions for multiple nationally renowned festivals, tours, and events giving her a 360 view of a live event. This is where she learned her love for the hustle of being onsite.

Kat prides herself on her ability to plan for the unexpected and roll with the punches. She hopes her work in the live event space can help bring a little joy to people when they need it most and shed a little light on the world when it needs a change. She loves creating magic moments.
